I've owned a 64 Falcon Sprint and a 65 Mustang, and the Falcon was a whole lot better than the Mustang, now I have an 06 Mustang with a v-6, that has more power than any 65 289, it corners like a slot car on tracks and at 70 mph, it gets 30 mpg on a bad day, it will go from 0 to ticket in 6 sec.and as far as working on them, you better know how to work on them, if you own a 65. The only way you could feel more connected to the road is have a friend drag you down the asphalt.
