yes! this! i constantly see numbers for agriculture that don’t distinguish between GHG volume (small) and warming contribution (much larger, eg methane’s 30x). sounds like this author debunked bad volume numbers, but not contribution…which is what we really care about, right?

I agree with the article, but I do have a question. Is that 3.9% methane which has a ~30x warming potential vs co2 or is that factored in already? Either way the fact remains vegan alone won’t scale nearly enough to slow warming, just curious what the numbers here represent
