11 years ago I built windhistory.com, a visualization of winds at airports. The site still works great! It's 100% static files so the server isn't doing anything complicated. D3js (v2!) and Polymaps (!!) also still just work. Hat tip to OSM tiles too. #

In light of Icebergs shutting down, this is a reminder that Reading is run by a single person who pays for the servers because he likes you. #
