There's a ton of difference, for sure but IMHO it's mostly that we integrate information across many contexts.

I still experience this feeling of being sentient even when I know I'm just pattern matching.

I'd guess there are moments the machine experiences that too. #

Oh and also I don't necessarily rule out ✨ extra-physical ✨ differences between us and machines. I'd say I'm not strictly a materialist when we get into this stuff. #
