This has ALWAYs bothered me.
It’s also always bothered me how engineers will line up to have their pet Open Source projects funded by companies who are funded by VCs and the entire thing is a confidence scam.
Then this scam is acquired by Microsoft for the engineering talent…
It’s like startups are just recruiters for the Big Boys.
