hell yes. i “subpost” like this fairly often when i want to say something but not call attention to it. hell, i often go even father and publish posts that never show up on my front page or in feeds at all, usually technical notes that are only intended for search engines. glad to see the idea spreading!

more importantly, I’m a big fan of the cognitive discipline that writing in public enforces, like you say. i often work out how i feel about something or follow a vague unexplained hunch by writing about it. underrated; really powerful.
