Bridgy Fed fediverse => Bluesky bridging is currently paused. The Bluesky team has been working on their relay to handle all their new growth, and they’ve temporarily stopped ingesting data from federated PDSes like Bridgy Fed while they finish that firefighting. Sorry for the inconvenience, all! Please send their team lots of #hugops!

(Bluesky => fediverse bridging has struggled a bit too, but it should generally still be working.)

  2. So I think that’s explained, see fed.brid.gy/r/https://sn… ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ.
    1) We can see them on Mastodon (if they have bridge enabled on BS), but BS can’t see us (Mastodon).
    2) So I see BS toots on #Mastodon, but on the other hand I don’t see #Mastodon toots on BS ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ฌ.

  3. Again ๐Ÿค” (intreface to BS doesn’t worked, see snarfed.org/2024-11-21_5…)
    1) #Mastodon users can see toots from #Bluesky (if they [BS-users] have bridge enabled on BS), but BS users can’t see #Mastodon toots

  4. @snarfed.org Okay I see that Bridgy fediverse => Bluesky bridging is working again, but with delay. I also have seen that now, after a toot has been deleted in the fediverse, it also disappears on Bluesky – with delay, too. This did not work earlier – so it’s a new feature!๐Ÿ’ฅ Of course, modifying posts on bsky is not possible – so you don’t see modifications of your fediverse toots on Bluesky.

  5. @snarfed.org Hello Ryan.
    I have one question regardin g #Bridgy .

For the at least second time now, I have automatically unfollowed some bridged Bsky accounts that I follow from here. Like, if have not unfollowed them but I was not following them anymore.

Is that some known bug of bridgy or do you know what’s going on there?

    Thanks a lot!

    #bridgy
